At the resorts taxi ranks are typically close to the main hotels and the bus terminals. It is also possible to ask the reception desk at the hotel to order a reliable taxi service. Taxis are metered and the minimum fare is EUR 3.25 which rises to EUR 4.45, if a call was made to the central reservation desk. In addition, EUR 0.98 is charged for every kilometer traveled. This charge is applicable between the hours of 7.00 and 9.00 pm. After 9.00 pm this charge rises to EUR 1.20 per kilometer traveled. Luggage is transported free of charge but an airport supplement of EUR 1.65 applies.

Taking this as the basis for a calculation, the cost for travelling by taxis from the airport to various resort destinations on the island works out like this:
